PORT OF NAPIER ARRIVALS. August. 15—Sir Donald, s.s., from AA'aimarama. I, —. ■ The s.s. Sir Donald, Captain Quinlan, returned from Waimarama at noon to-day, but brought no cargo, being unable to obtain tho Avhalo oil for which she Avent down. Tho Union Company's s.s. Taiaroa left Dunedin at 4.30 on Monday aftornoon, for Napier direct, and is expected to put in an appearanco hero this evening. She will bo tendered on arrival by the launch Boojum, the outward passengers being taken off at 8 p.m., or as soon after as circumstances Avill permit. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Omapere leaves Timaru for Napier to-day, arriving hero about Friday evening. [By Cable.] Albany, Tuesday. Tho P. and O. steamship Assam arrived at King George's Sound this morning, with the inward Suez mail dated London, July 13. Sydney, Tuesday. Arrived, this morning, Union Company's steamship Waihora from Auckland. [BY TELEGRAPH.] AVestport, This day. Tho Kangaroo was successfully floated off the sandbank on the north side of tlie channel yesterday. The steamer has received no damage as far as is at present knoAvn.
