Last night of the American War Panorama at the Theatre Royal to-night, accompanied with distribution of presents. The members of the Blue Ribbon Army meet in St. John's school-room at 7.30 tonight. The adjourned annual meeting , of members of the Napier Holiday Association takes place in the old Provincial buildings at 8 to-night. Mr Ryan sells household furniture, cooking utensil;-, pile game fowl.-*, pigeons, &c, by auction at his mart at 11 a.m. to-morrow. Messrs Hoadloy, Lyon and Co. hold a clearing sale of the dairy stock, plant, and household furniture of Mr P. McKeown at Taradale at noon to-morrow. Messrs Banner and Liddlc hold their next skin sale of this season at their Spit stores at 2 p.m. to-morrow. The time for making application for shares in Nelson Bros, (limited) Company expires to-morrow. Messrs Banner and Liddlo sell on the premises, Shakespeare road, on Thursday, the whole of Mr Pinhorne's furniture and effects. Mr James Boyd has been elected a warden of the Pctanc Road Board. A meeting of shcepfarnicrs and others interested in the prevention of the spread of the rabbit pest will he held at the rooms of the Agricultural and Pastoral Society on Saturday next. Messrs "Wood and Co. sell by auction at their mart at Hastings on Saturday furniture, clothing, and miscellaneous goods. The time for receiving applications for shares in the Now Zealand Land Mortgage Company has been extended to Monday next. Messrs Banner and Liddlc sell on the premises, Farndon, on Thursday, ICth instant, the whole of Mr Thcakstone's household furniture and effects. Tenders are invited for the erection of a dwelling-house on the hills. Mr Frank Collinge invites tenders for the erection of about 15 chains of embankment at Papakura. The programme of the Petane races, to be held on the 9th November, together with dates for nomination, final payments, and general enterics, are published. Mr AY. Ct. Motley, property agent, has properties in Napier and Hastings for sale. A number of new advertisements will be found in our " Wanted " column.
