MEETINGS OF TIMBER COMPANIES.

At the annual meeting of tho Auckland Timber Company the report showed a net profit for the year of £13,500. A dividend was declared at the rale of 15 per cent.
At the half-yearly meeting of the Mercury Bay Timber Company the net profit shown for the past half-year was £3850. The declaration of a dividend was postponed to the end of the current half-year.
