BOROUGH PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE.

Tho Public Works Committee of the Municipal Council held their usual meeting last evening, and agreed to recommend tho Council as follows:—

1. That two tanks be erected on the Gas Company's premises in terms of tho manager's letter.

2. That Dickens-street be widened in accordance with the request of the committee.

3. That the alterations to tho Town Clerk's oflico be proceeded with in accordance with the plans of the engineer.

4. That in future tenders be invited for the supply of ironmongery and all other requisites for Corporation works.
