Hallett, R.N., Commander, will bo despatched as above from Lyttolton the lOthofJULi, positively. This vessel, now on her maiden voyage from London, is fitted throughout in the newest and most complete manraor. The Saloon is amidships, and is luxuriously furnished. The sleeping-cabins aro large, airy and elegantly fitted. A smoking-room, ladies' boudoirs, four b.'ithrooms, and a barber's room arc included in the Saloon accommodation. The Second Class and Steerage quarters are of a superior character, well provided with lavatories, and having ample prorneniide space. It is intended that the steamer shall call ■* at Rio do Janeiro, so justly celebrated for ' the loveliness of its scenery. Cargo is now being received in Lyttclton and stored free of charge, for which special arrangements must be made. Parcels under SOibs taken at half a guinea . each. The snloon and state cabins lire superbly fitted and arranged and provided with every requisite for the comfort of tho passengers, who are provided with bedding and all cabin fittings. The dietary scale is most liberal. Second-class nud steerage accommodation is all that could be desired, and the ships arc commanded by experienced masters. The Company nlso charters ships of the ' highest claas as required, and vessels are despatched from London to each of tho principal ports of the colony with strict punctuality every month. The Company has also ships loading homeward from New Zealand. LIVERPOOL AGENCY. A Branch lias been established in Liverpool, and vessels will be despatched at suitable intervals to tha principals ports in New Zealand. NEW YORK AGENCY. Messrs R. W. Cameron and Co. have been appointed Agents for this Company, and a regular line of vessels will be laid on for the various ports in this colony to meet the requirements of the trade. Arrangements for the passages of friends to and fro from the colony, and also for the conveyance of cargo can be made at the Head Office, Christclmrch or at any of the Branchos in the colony. D.
