The revenue of the colony during last year amounted to £2,090,000, boing a docrease of £155,500 compared with 1881-82, chiefly due to falling off in the land lcvenue. But for this there would have been an increase of £-18,000. The Customs revenue during the year increased by £60,000, and the railway receipts by £-16,000.
