THE SALVATION ARMY AT WELLINGTON.
Wellington, This day. The Salvation Army haA-e commenced their campaign in their barracks, formerly knoAvn us the Princess Theatre. The clergy of tho city are holding aloof, as great interest seems to be taken as to Avhen; a serious accident shall occur, the gallery stair being in a bad Avay in parts, as in the proceedings of the Army itself. The Army at present is a mere skeleton of tAvo officers (captains), and one private, but as noiso and bawling are *tAvo prominent features in their proceedings the crowded audiences are a wonderful assistance.
