This day
Tho Argus . has published a forecast of the Ministerial measures for the approaching session. These are stated to include a bill for tho appointment of three commissioners for the management of tho raihvays, and a bill to abolish official patronage in public departments. Tho Argus states that party questions AA'ill be avoided by the Government. Mr Service, the Premier, has received a telegram from the Government of ~Nev<~ Zealand intimating the hitter's intention to test in Parliament, the question of sharing Avith the other colonies the expenses of the annexation of tbo New Hebrides and other groups in the Pacific.
