Auckland, This day

The police made a seizure of impure meat from a butcher's shop on Thursday, and SOOlbs. have been condemned by thomagistrato as unfit for human consumption. A bullock that was bought at auction for £2 12s 6d could not walk from the pen to the sale yard, and had been killed where it lay. Proceedings are to be taken against Pascoe tho butcher for having possession of such meat.
