DROWNING OF CAPTAIN JAMES.
Auckland, This day.
Information has been received of the drowning on Thursday last of Captain James, of the cutter Wave, on the voyage from Mercury Bay to Suva. He was washed over. The deceased was formerly pilot here, and leaves a wife and six children.
