[By Cable.] London, May 2G. Consols are quoted at 102, an advance of one-quarter. New Zealand securities.—Five per cent 10-10 loan has declined 20s, and is now quoted at 105; the four and a half per cent 1870-1901 loan has declined by 10s to 102: the four per cent inscvibod stock is quoted at 102, an advance of 10s ; the five porcenfc 1889 loan remains at 101. Colonial breadstuff's and tallow are unchanged. Sydney sundried copra is quoted at £20, a decline of 15s. Best Australian leather is at 9.f d. Melbourne, Monday. Messrs C. S. Ross and Co., of Melbourne, report the sale of a cargo of kauri timber, ex Albert the Good, at the following average prices per 100 foot super:—Hewn logs, Ms (id ; sawn flitches, 16s 9d ; sawn boards, 1 inch, 10s Gd; ditto, !-._■ to 3 inch, 10s 9d.
