FATAL ACCIDENTS.

Shortly after 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon a fatal accident occurred at the timber yard of Mr Bartlett iv Harley street. A lad named David Bums, who was iv charge of a horse and dray, removed the blinkers from the horse, and was about to feed the animal, when it started. Burns held on to its neck for a few yards, Avhen he fell, and the wheel of the dray passed over his chest. He was removed to the workshop and spoke once or twice, saying, "What will my poor mother say r" He died directly after the arrival of a doctor, and about ten minutes after the accident. CmusTCHURCir, This day. On Thursday morning a man named Samuel Peterson, employed at Mr Goodwin's farm at Green Park, was found dead at the foot of a ladder placed against the wall of the house. On examination his neck was found to be broken. And inquest was held on Friday, and an open verdict returned.
