POST OFFICE NOTICE.
MAILS CLOSE Thursday being the Queen's birthdsiy, and a Post Office holiday, mails usually despatched on Thursday morning wiil close as follows:—For Clivc, Hastings, Havolock, To Ante, Kaikora, Wuipawa, Waipukurau, Takapau, Ormondville, Makatoku, Motuotaria, Wallingford, Poraugahau, Wainui, Pukutapu, Rissington, Knripapanga, and Erewhon, to-morrow at S.p.m-. For Wellington, &c., per Southern, Cross, on Friday, at 9 a.m.. The steamship Mcnmuir leaves Sydney for Hong Kong on the 31st instant. For London, 'per steamer British Queen leaving Lyttelton on the 3tst instant, calling at Rio. do-Janeiro, due at London about Ittli- July. J. Grubb, Chief Postmaster.
