REPLY TO "WISDOM TOOTH."
[To the Editor of the Daily Telegraph.] Sir, —Yoi ir correspoudeii t«' AVisdomTooth ((iertainly a misnomer in this case, for there is very little wisdom in Avhat he writes] says that I regard a poor woman's teeth from a dentist's point of view. lam happy to say I know nothing about a dentist's point of view, never having required the ~erviccs of'a'deiit'ist. I should advise him fo re-read my letter, when lib will ucc (il his eyesight is any clearer than it Avas before) that tho doctors agreed to send tho
Avoman to the hospital for the purpose of having her teeth extracted. That is clear enough surely. They said nothing about the hospital dentist. AA r . T. evidently appears fond of ansAvering letters for arguments sake, for he doesn't dispute the facts. I will just add that I consider him a lucky man if all his lady friends have good sets of teeth, or else his acquaintance Avith them must be very limited indeed. It certainly cannot be any insane desire to destroy a bad set of teeth that is the ease, in this instance. Is he sure that amongst all those good sots of teeth of his acquaintance there arc no false ones ?—I am, kc, Fair Play. Napier, May 11, ISS3. [Correspondence on this subject is ended— Ed. D.T.]
