PORT OF NAPIER. ARRIVALS. May. I—Southern Cross, s.s., from Wellington. DEPARTURES. May. I—Sir Donald, s.s., for Blackhead and Wahnarama. 2—Boojuni, s.s., for Waii'oa, with a few passengers. « The Union Company's steamer Southern Cross, Capt. Allman, arrived in the bay from Wellington at 11 o'clock last night, and was berthed inside at the breastwork at 8.30 a.m. this day. She discharged her cargo, some 20 tons, during the morning, including a small quantity of transhipments ont of the Waimca. The Cross is to get away at 2 o'clock this afternoon for trisborne, Tologa Bay, and Auckland. She is to ship ft cargo of' sheep at Tologa Bay for the Auckland market. The steamer Sir Donald took her departure for Blackhead and Waimarama last evening, with a full cargo. The launch Boojum, Captain Malouey, steamed for Wairoa at 7 o'clock this morning, taking a few passengers. The Union Company's s.s. Taiaroa, which left here yesterday, is telegraphed as having arrived in Wellington at 8.30 a.m. this day. The p.s. Manaia is telegraphed as having left Wairoa at 11 o'clock this morning on her return voyage, and will arrive during the afternoon. The ketch Admiral i.s lightering the brig Fawn in the bay to-day of part of her cargo of coal.

Messrs Shaw Savill and Co.'s Albion Shippinjr Company's barque Electra is expected to leave the Bluff to-day for this port, where she is to load produce for London. She will have quick despatch, as a considerable part of her cargo already awaits her in the wool stores on (lie Spit. Messrs Kinross and Co. will bo hoy local agents l .

The steamer Kiwi, which was to have left Wellington at n o'clock last night, is expected to arrive here by daylight in the mommy?, and, after discharging her cargo at the wharf, is announced by advertisement to steam iigain for Wellington at 3 o'clock to-morrow afternoon.

The Union Company's s.s. Omapcre, Captain Webster, is due here on Friday next from Dunccliu, Oamaru, and Timaru, unci is announced to .steam northwards at i o'clock the same day.
