Passengers ■ —Mr James Sidey aud several others. The Union Company's steamer Taiaroa, Capt. Hausby, arrived in the bay from the South soon after 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, having left Wellington at ■> o'clock the previous evening. The lighter Admiral tendered her for cargo, some 40 tons, and the Boojum for mails and passengers, taking those outwards olt' at i o'clock, the Taiaroa steaming for Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland shortly before o o'clock. Manaia took her departure foi Wairoa at 11 o'clock last night, taking i\ large number of passengers and a good The.steamerLKiwi, which was expected to arrive this morning from Wellington, has not A'et made her appearance, having only left Castle Point at 11.20 a.m. thiday. Her time of departure has been extended until -1 o'clock to-morrow. The s.s. Maori steamed for Porangahau last night, with a full cargo. Tho Union Company's launch Bo"juni, Capt. Maloney, left for Wairoa last night, ■with a number of passengers. The steamer Go-Ahead, Capt. Dnilo, is due here to-morrow morning from Wellington, and will be sailing again at 11 o'clock the same day. Tho Union Company's s.s. Te Anau was to have left Auckland at abmit noon to-day for Southern ports and Melbourne, and is duo in our roadstead by daylight on Saturday morning. Her hour of departure for the South is 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon . The steamer Fairy, Capt. John Campbell, has loaded up for Te Apiti, and will probably be leaving to-night. The three-masted schooner Frank Guy, Capt. J. P. Hullo, arrived in Newcastle, N.S.W., last Sunday, after a ten days passage from this port. She i.s expected to leave there to-day with a cargo of coal for her owner, Mr J. 11. Vautier. The Union Company's s.s. Tarawera is the boat due here from the South on Saturday, aud will probably arrive during the forenoon. [By Cable.] Mkbuol t exi;, Wednesday.
