THE OPENING OF PARLIAMENT.— MAJOR ATKINSON UNABLE TO PROCEED NORTH.
• AVellington This day. Owing to the short time before the opening of Parliament Major Atkinson AA'ill be unable to proceed North and lecture on national -assurance, etc. He will, lioav - ever, address his constituents before Parliament meets. Should the alterations to the Parliament house be completed in time, members Avill be called together for the first Aveek in June.
