Last appearance of Miss Jennie Lee and company at the Theatre Royal to-night in the comedy of "The Grasshopper," commencing , at 7. t-3 • The members of the Napier Gymnasium hold a general meeting , in the Protestant Hall at 8 o'clock to-night. Tenders for the painter's and paperhanger's work required at Mr Heron's new building in Emerson-street must be sent in to Mr T. R. Cooper by to-morrow. Mr Dugleby will receive tenders not later than to-morrow for the erection of an hotel at Puketapu A first and final dividend in the estate of Angus M'Kay will be prepared to-morrow by the trustee, Mr G. T. Cross. Mr Monteith will sell at the Horse Bazaar to-morrow at 1.00 horses, drays, harness, produce, &c. The annual meeting , of the members of the Huwke's Bay Jockey Club is convened to be held at the club's rooms in Tennyson.street on Monday, the .'soth instant. Msssrs D. Gray and Co. announce that overdue accounts will be sued for if not settled before the 4th May. The Resident Magistrate, Ca.pt. Preece, cautions the public against cashing , two cheques issued by the Paymaster-General at "Wellington, and countersigned by him. Mr E. R. Yickermau offers a reward of five .shilling?! for the recovery of a brown retriever dog , which is lost. Messrs Newton and Co. quote juices for men's and boy's clothing which have just been ojieued up. Messrs R. Hannah and Co., who state that they "are unapproachable as caterers to the public, for cheap boots," publish a fresh price list of the goods which they are offering , . Mr Alexander Browne quotes prices for the special job lines and bargains in drapery and clothing- which can be obtained at his establishment. Mr R. H. Robinson, of the Cheap Drapery Shop, Emerson-street, has now opened up his immense shipments of autumn and winter drapery and clothing, and publishes price list of same. Suppers can be had at Schicming's restaurant to-morrow night, particulars of which will appear to-morrow. Messrs Garrett Brothers, of Dublin House, want a boy to .serve out men's and ladies' boots, at reduced prices. Mr T. R.
