The seventh meeting of the AVanganui Trotting Club Avas held on Saturday. The weather Avas threatening, and the attendance AA-as small. Alaiden Tbotting- (one nule heats) : of 20 soys, second to receive 5 soys from the stakes. First Heat.— Pearce's Dore, 1 ; Simpson's Dotts, 2. Seven started. Time, 3 mins. 10 4-sth sees. Second Heat.—Dotts, 1 ; Dore, 2. Five started. Time, 3 mins. 16 3-sth sees. Final Heat,—Dotts, 1 : Dore, 2. Time, 3 mins. 16 sees. Handicap Teotting- in single harness ; 20 soys. First Heat. — Kirkwood's Darkie, 1 ; Lingard's Jack, 2. Time, 'i mins. 25 2-sth sees. Second Heat.—Jack, 1; Darkie, 2, Time, •3 mins. 24 2-sth sees. Third Heat.—Jack, 1 ; Darkie, 2. Time, 3 mins. 18 2-sth sees. The police stopped a totalisator ivhich Avas at Avork on the track, owing to no permit having been obtained.
