Mr Sargood joins the Ministry without fortfolio. The portfolio of Postmaster-General has not yet been allotted. In the action Moss versus the Union Steamship Company for damage to the tug Sophia by collision with the steamship Manapouri, a verdict has been returned for the plaintiff for £600. This day. The body of a man named Robert Harding, recently found in the water at Brighton Avith a wound in the throat, has been exhumed, as there are grave suspicions that the deceased met Avith his death through foul play. Later. It is now believed that Harding committed suicide, and died by drowning after cutting his throat.
