OPUNAKE.
This day. A rumour is current amongst the Maoris that Te AVhiti is coming back on the 3rd March. Many of those formerly deported are said to have returned to receive him, and that a lot from other places had to be dispersed by Captain Messenger. Yesterday tho Constabulary tents at Parihaka were blown down, and Colonel Roberts has ordered the building of a large sleeping wharc.
