All claims against the barque May Queen must be rendered in duplicate to her agents, Messrs Kinross and Co., by noon to-morrow, or they will not be recognised. Mr Monteith sells horses, buggy, fencingwire, staples, kc. by auction at the Horse Bazaar at 1.30 p.m. to-morrow. A meeting of the ratepayers of the To Mata Road Board district is convened to be held at Te Mata on Wednesday next. The returning officer, Mr Cullcn, notifies the election of Messrs J. I). Ormoud, W. I. Spencer, J. H. Coleman, R. Harding and R. Price, as tho Licensing Committees for the Napier North, Central, and South licensing districts, and appoints Friday, Mirch 9, at the Court House, Napier, as the time and place at which each Committee will hold its first meeting to elect a chairman, such meeting being also the March quarterly licensing meeting. Messrs Blythe and Co. quote prices for oatmeal cloth's which they are clearing. Any person returning a dark chestnut horse" lost during the month of January to Mr George Smith, Hastings, or to Mr G. P. Donnelly, will receive a reward of £5. Mr Alexander Browne publishes a number of advertisements in our "Wanted Known" column, in which ho describes his establishment as '' tho cheapest house in Napier " for all kinds of drapery and clothing, and announces bargains for the ensuing week. Kepler's extract, of malt, a substitute for cod liver oil, can be procured at the Apothecaries Hall. A number of new advertisements will be found in our " Wanted " column.
