AUCKLAND.
This day. The Hon. Mr Bryce left for Whangarei on Saturday to meet the Hon. Mr Rollestou there, for the purpose of settling some recent native disturbances. A Swedish seaman named Antonio Pearson, belonging to the barque Grosvener, was found drowned in the harbor on Saturday.
