INVERCARGILL.
This day. Thomas Watson, hotclkeoper at Gore, committed suicide by hanging himself in the Athemeum Hall yesterday. On Tuesday a boy named Archibald MoPhec, aged rive years, the son of a settler at Longbush, fell into a zinc bath containing scalding water used for cleaning pigs, and received such injuries that he died next day. A case of sunstroke occurred yesterday. The sufferer was removed to the hospital, and recovered after treatment.
