To exemplifj ,- how cheap Glacialine is :— By simply dissolving the contents of a packet in water, one gallon of a perfect preservative is obtained, which will prevent several Cwts. of Meat, Fish, or Game from becoming tainted, while hundreds of Eggs may be kept as fresh as new-laid for a year ; a firkin of Butter preserved in freshness and delicate aroma ; or 60 gallons of Milk or Cream may bo so preserved that it may be transmitted with safety by Rail or Boat. Extract from The Lancet, January 1, 1881. " A food preservative termed the ' Glacialine ' has recently been introduced to public notice, and has already acquired a deservedly wide reputation. It possesses the remarkable property of preventing putrefaction and obviating fermentatily change in liquids and solid foods. " Wo believe an enormous amount of sickness and death among Children would have been prevented by simply using a small quantity of this perfectly harmless Glacialine in their food.—J.
