It has transpired that Earl Spencer was guarded by detectives on his journey from Dublin, and remains under the same protection while in London. Ilis Excellency attended a meeting of the Cabinet to-day, but nothing was known as to the object of the conference with Ministers. A Gazette to-day announces the appointment of Mr Hensmau as Attorney-General of Western Australia.
