The outAvard passengers Avere taken out to the Union Company's s.s. AVairarapa at 7 o'clock on Saturday night, the steamer proceeding on her passage for Northern ports and Sydney at about S o'clock. The steamer Sir Donald returned from Moeangiangi and Arapawaniii on Saturday afternoon, bringing -wool. She is loading timber for AVaikarc to-day, and Avill leave to-night. The s.s. Alaori returned from AVairoa and the coast on Sunday at 2 p.m., bringing 4.3 bales of avool and some passengers. She Avill be leaving for A\ r airoa again at 8 o'clock to-moiro -\- morning, and. -will probably be calling at Alohaka en route. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Te Anau arrived in the roadstead at daylight yesterday morning from Auckland A-ia Poverty* Bay. Tho Boojum attended shortly before 7 a.m., and brought off the iiiAvardpassengers, aud the lighters tendered for cargo. The following is a report of the Te Anau"s passage, kindly furnished by the purser:—Left Auckland at 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon, and arrived at Poverty Bay at 2 p. m. the next day; landed passengers aud cargo, and at 6 o clock in the evening left for Napier, arriving hero as stated above. The outward passengers Avere taken off at 10 a.m., and the Te Anau took her departure for Alclbourne via AVellingtou and Southern ports about 11 o'clock. Tho s.s. Fairy arrived from Blackhead on Saturday night. The brig A\ r ave, Captain Christian, sailed yesterday morning for Kaipara in ballast. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Omapcro, 358 tons register, Captain AVebster, Ri__A..d in the roadstead from Southern ports at 4.30 p.m. yesterday, and AA-as berthed inside by tho pilot soon aftei'A. ards. She reports having left Port Chalmers at midnight on the 30th ultimo, Oamaru next day, and Timaru on the Ist instant, arriving at Lyttelton at 7 a.m. ou the 2nd ; sailed thence for A\ r olliugton at 3.40 p.m., arriving at 11.15 a.m. on the 3rd ; left for Napier at 6 p.m., arriA-ing as above. Had fine Aveather throughout. She discharged her cargo, some 60 tons, at the brcastAA-ork this morning, and at 3 o'clock this afternoon .vas to have sailed for Poverty Bay, Tauranga, and Auckland. The steamer Ki.vi, Capt. James Campbell, arrived here from AVcllington at 5.30 a.m. this day, and was brought straight inside by the pilot, taking up her berth at the cattle Avharf, Avhere she discharged her her cargo, some 100 tons, during the morning, including a quantity of transhipped goods out of the Pareora and Duncraig. The KiAA-i reports having left AVcllington at s.3oxi.ni. ou Saturday; arrived at Castle Point at 6 o'clock next morning; stayed there until 3 o'clock in the afternoon, lauding passengers and cargo, and arrived here as aboA'o. She is announced to leaA-c for AVellingtou direct at 5 o'clock to-night. The p.s. Manaia, Capt. Botham, returned to port during last night from Mahia, bringing tiA'o jiassengers and some ivool. The Union Company's launch Boojum, Capt. Alaloney, steamed for AVairoa shortly after 9 o'clock this morning, taking seven passengers, Avhose names avc were unable to ascertain. The lighters Three Brothers aud Sir Donald discharged the steamers AVairarapa and Tc Allan's cargoes at the brcastivork this morning. The Union Company's jicav steamer Ilauroto has mado the fastest passage on record from AVcllington to Sydney, doing the run in four days six hours.
