The Juvenile Opera Company produce " H.M.S. Pinafore " for the second time at the Theatre Royal to-night. Tho swearing in of novr members of the
Artillery Volunteers v. ill be continued at the Council Chamber at 8 o'clock to-night. The first meeting of the creditors of G. A. King, of Woodville, a bankrupt, takes place at the Court House, Napier, at 3 p.m. to-morrow. Messrs M. R. Miller and Potts sell wool, sheepskins, produce, wire and staples, kerosene, and section of land at Wanstead, at their wool stores at Waipawa at 10.30 a.m. to-morrow, and horses and cattle at the Empire sale yards at 11.30 a.m. Messrs Banner and Liddle sell by auction to-morrow, at 11 a.m., on the premises, Clive Square, the whole of Mrs Mitchell's household furniture and effects. Tenders for the construction of two sections of tho Wairoa-Gisborne road will be received by the Chief Surveyor, Mr Horace Baker, up to noon to-morrow. Unless redeemed a bay gelding and a brown marc will be sold at the Taradalo pound to-morrow. Captain Blythe will attend at the Criterion Hotel "to-morrow evening for the imrposo of enrolling members to complete the full strength of the Napier Rifle Volunteers The directors of the New Zealand Shipping Company have declared an interim dividend for "the half-year ended 31st December at rate of 10 per cent per annum on the paid-up capital, and the same will be payable on and after Wednesday. Mr Duglcby invites tenders for the erection of a four-roomed cottaire. Mr S. G. Brandon, Meanec, has about fifteen acres of land divided into four paddocks, with six-roomed house, artesian well, dairy, &c., to let. Messrs Blythe and Co. are selling- 7s 6d umbrellas for 2s Gd. The steamer Kiwi leaves for Wellington at 0 o'clock to-morrow evening. Mr Denholm has been appointed agent at the Spit for Mr Woods, Pharmaceutical Chemist. A number of new advertisements will be found in our " Wanted " column.
