All nominations, entries, and acceptances, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must be addressed to the Secretary, and left at the Criterion Hotel, Napier,_ not later than 8 p.m. on the several specified dates. The rules and weights of the HawkeY Bay Jockey Club Avill be strictly adhered to. Five per cent, Anil he deducted from the gross amount of all stakes.
