Gilbey's Circular, which can be obtained from us on application. The magnitude of the Firm's operations in the United Kingdom (one twentieth part of all the foreign Wines consumed there, being supplied from their stock), affords ample proof of the quality of the liquor, which, together with the age, and in the case of Spirits, the strength, is guaranteed by Messrs W. and A. To exemplify how cheap Glacialine is :—By simply dissolving the contents of a packet in witter, one gallon of a perfect preservative is obtained, which will prevent several Cwts. of Meat, Fish, or Game from becoming tainted, while hundreds of Eggs may be kept as fresh as new-laid for a year ; a firkin of Butter preserved in freshness and delicate aroma; or 00 gallons of Milk or Cream may be so preserved that it may be transmitted with safety by Rail or Boat. It possesses the remarkable property of preventing putrefaction and obviating femientatily change in liquids and solid foods.
