January. 17—Sir Donald, s.s., forßlackhead. 18—Boojiuu, s.s., for Wairoa, with several passengers. IS—Maori, s.s., for Mohaka and Wairoa, with one passenger. . The steamer Maori, Captain Anderson, returned from Mohaka yesterday afternoon, bringing seven passengers and 44 bales of wool". She left again this morning at 6 o'clock for Mohaka and Wairoa, taking a good cargo and one passenger. The Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross is due here from Poverty Bay and Auckland at daylight to-morrow morning, and she has 50 tons of general cargo and 150 bales of wool on board for this port. She is announced to steam for Wellington at 3 o'clock to-morrow afternoon. The steamer Sir Donald, Capt. Quinlan, took her deporturo for Blackhead last night, Avith a cargo of timber and stores. The Union Company's launch Boojum, Captain Malonoy. steamed for Wairoa at about () o'clock this morning, taking several passengers. The steamer Arawata is expected to leave Auckland for this port via Gisbome at noon to-day, and is due here at daylight on Saturday morning-, sailing for Southern ports and Melbourne at 11.30 a.m. The Union Company's s.s. Rotomahana, from Melbourne, left Dunedin yesterday. will be leaving Lyttelton to day, Wellingion to-morrow afternoon, and is due here on Saturday morning.
