MELBOURNE WOOL SALES.
OPENING OF NEW SOUTH WALES PARLIAMENT. CONFERENCE OF THE PREMIERS OF VICTORIA, SOUTH AUSTRALIA, AND QUEENSLAND. MELBOURNE. January 17. At their wool auction to-day Messrs Goltlsborough and Co. (limited) sold 1-300 bales. Fidl prices were realised. Greasy wools brought up to 12-kl and scoured up to 21-! d. This day. Sir Thomas Mcl.lwraith, the Premier of Queensland, is now here, and it is expected that he will discuss certain questions of common interest with Sir Bryan O'Loghlen and Mr Bray, the Premier of South Australia. The international cricket match will commence here to-morrow. Morley will play for the English team.
