Section 2 has a small frontage to theTaupo-road, and is bounded on one side by the Mohaka river. Sections 3 and 4 have frontage to the Taupo-road. Maungah'aruru District: Fern hills and spurs on the western slopes of the Maungaharurti range, the soil is light, about one half of Section 2 is undulating country covered with natural grasses. Section 3is good pastoral land. Section 4 has frontage to Taupo-road. A few clumps of bush are scattered about on Section 1. Waitara District: Open fern country. liillv. Where only six annual premiums have been paid, the rate varies from £2 8s Gd to £2 18s Id per cent, per annum. Policies which have been in force for less than live years have received from £1 8s 7d to £1 los 7d per cent, per annum on the sum assured. Accumulated Funds Exceed Four Million Pounds Steeling.
