Sutton, Esq., of InverCiirgill— QA LINCOLN RAMS, 2 and 1-Tooth. %J\J These Rams are specially selected for this market, and arc of very fine quality. Mr Sutton is well known as the largest prize-taker at all the principal Shows in the South Island. Instructed by P. C. Threlkeld, Esq., of Canterbury. 120 LINCOLN RAMS, 2 and 4-tooth. For quality and evenness these will be found to surpass any forwarded by Mr Threlkeld at previous Ram Fairs. They have been, as usual with tliis reliable breeder, most carefully selected. 110 PURE LINCOLN RAMS, 2 and 4-tooth, bred by Philip Dolbel, Esq., of Puketapu. These well-known and favoiitc sheep are bred with care from the highest class imported rams, several first prize-takers. F.lockowners_ who have used them in pn,st years testify to their progeny being , thoroughly good. Instructed by New Zealand and Australian ' Land Company— 30 LINCOLN RAMS, 2 and 4-tooth. These Rams have been kept specially for this market and arc of very fine quality. Sheep from this fiook have been amongst the largest prize-takers in the South Island during the past year. Society's Show, and therefore knew what class of sheep were wanted in the district, and selected the above Rams, all of them being of fine quality and I from imported Rams and Ewes. Instructed by Hon. Matthew Holmes, of Oamaru— 60 LINCOLN RAMS, 2 and 4-tooth. These are a very high class lot of Rams, Mr Holmes taking a large share of honors at the various Southern Shows. Instructed by J. A. and W. M. Douchas, Waikato— 20 L I N C O L N R A M S, 2-t o o th. Messrs Douglas arc well known in the North, and have taken a number of prizes at the Auckland and other Shows. The wool is of the finest quality and weight, his rains clipping up to 241b wool each. Instnicted by J. E. Goose, Esq., Kaikora— o0 LINCOLN RAMS, 2, 4, and C-tooth. Bred by J.Allen, Esq., ofTaieri, Otago. These sheep were selected in Otago by Mr Guose, who picked all his sheep before shearing. Instructed by J. Anduhson, Esq., Keroru — 1 PURE LINCOLN RAM, -1 years. Bred by Messrs Urquhart, Victoria. This Ram took first prize in his class at the Melbourne Show, and second champion prize for the best Longwool Ram in the Show. Bred hy T. Tanner, Esq.— 70 FULL-MOOTHED RAMS, used in own Flock. ROMNEY-MARSIi RA MS. Instructed by Hon. Matthew Holmes, of Oamaru—• 30 ROMNEY-MARSH RAMS, 2-tooth. These Rams are really good, and tho Ronmeys are coming into favor now, being liner than the Lineolns. Instructed by John Reid, Esq., of Oamaru. 30 ROMNEY - MARSH RAMS, 2 and 4-tooth. These are splendid Rams, Mr Reid being the largest prizn-taker in tho South Island for Ronmeys. MERINO RAMS. Instructed by D. Gollan, Esq.— 30 STUD MERINO RAMS, 2-tooth. Those are bred from a pure Gibson Rum, and are very good, Mr Gollan taking champion prize at the late Show, and other first prizes. Instructed by Trustees Stokes Estate, Milbourne — 40 PURE MERINO RAMS, 2 and Itooth. Instructed by J. Anderson, Esq., Kercru— 4.5 ME R I N O RAM S, 6-tooth. 60 M E R I N O RAMS, 4-tooth. 70 M E RI N O RAMS, 2-tooth. These are bred from pure Wyndham Rams and Ewes, and have been carefully selected the owner reserving none for his own use. This breed is fast coming to tho front, Mr Anderson taking no less than six prizes at our last Annual Show. Instructed by J. Anderson, Sen., Motco— 3 PURE VERMONT AMERICAN MERINO RAMS, 4-tooth. 3 PURE WYNDHAM MERINO RAMS 4-tooth. These are a very superior class of Rams, tho wool being of beautiful quality and very dense, and they are grand constitution sheep. Also— 20 PURE WYNDHAM-STUD EWES, Equal to any imported.
