The French Government has definitely decided to equip an expedition to Tonquin for the establishment of a French protectorate over that place, and it is announced that a vote of credit of eleven million francs will be proposed, instead of nine millons as stated by M. Duclere in the Chamber of Deputies on the 9th instant.
December 22
Krapotkine, one of the leaders of the Socialist movement, has been arrested at Lyonp, and is now detained in prison.
