DEPARTURES. November 23—Clyde, topsail schooner, for Eoxfon. 23—Southern Cross, s.s.. for Dunedin direct,. 23—Sir Donald, s.s., for Fairy Bay. 24—Kiwi, s.s., for Wellington via coastal stations. Passengers—Miss Harding and Mrs Robinson and family. The Union Company's steamer Southern Cross sailed for Dunedin direct at 5 o'clock last night, taking 60 head of cattle shipped by Messrs Miller and Potts. The s.s. Kiwi, Captain Campbell, steamed for Wellington and the coast shortly after 12 o'clock last night, taking 502 cases of preserved meats, and a quantity of hides, potatoes, and other goods. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Rotorua, Captain Tozer, left Auckland at noon yesterday, with 70 tons of cargo for this port. She has the opera company on board, and, as they are to play at Gisborne to-night, it will make it about 9 o'clock tomorrow morning before she can arrive here. The outward mails and passengers will be taken off by the launch at 1 o'clock, the steamer resuming her passage shortly afterwards. The Melbourne cargo and passengers will be transhipped from this boat to the Rotomahana at Dunedin, who will take up her running. The s.s. Sir Donald, Captain Quinlan, left for Fairy Bay at 10 o'clock last night for a load of wool. The topsail schooner Clyde sailed yesterday for Foxton in ballast. The p. 9. Manaia, Captain Baxter, leaves for Wairoa at 9 o'clock to-night, taking passengers and cargo. The Union Company's s.s. Arawata is to leave Wellington this afternoon, and should arrive here by to-morrow morning, sailing for Northern ports and Sydney at 4 o'clock tbe same afternoon.

The steamer Fairy left for the coast last evening for wool. Messrs Shaw Savill and Co.'s barque Langstone, Captain Ferguson, has now over 3000 bales of wool on board, and will be a full ship by Monday or Tuesday next. Her loading has been considerably delayed owing to the late rains having partially suspended shearing operations.
