LONDON.
November 8. A detachment of Sepoy troops arrived yesterday at Portsmouth. November 9. Anthony Trollope is now recovering from his indisposition.
A note has been addressed to the Powers by the Egyptian Government, in which it is stated that the Anglo-French control in Egypt has been abolished, because it was found that the dual political character of the English and French Controllers-General had the effect of creating trouble in the government of the country.
