THE N.Z. RIFLE ASSOCIATION.
(BY TELEGRAPH.) Dunedin, November 6
Firing was resumed at 8.30 this morning and continued until 7 o'clock to-night, when the Union match was completed. The Civilians' match, and also the Wellington match for carbines, which had been postponed from Saturday, were finished at 6 o'clock. The weather during the forenoon was favorable for shooting, a light southerly blowing down the range, but ehortly after noon the wind changed to the opposite quarter, and blew rather fresh. The wiod blows right across the range, and to this cause is attributed the low scoring. This afternoon several of the riflemen who held commanding positions for the aggregates fell back.
