The regular monthly meeting of the Victoria Lodge of Freemasons takes place in the Mnsouic Hall, Munroc-strect, this evening at 7.30. of George Bradley, of Taradale, saddler, a bankrupt, -will be held at the Court House, Napier, at 2 p.m. to-morrow. Mr Ryan and Messrs Banner and Liddle both hold auction sales of fruit at their marts to-morrow at 11 a.m. Tenders will be received not later than to-morrow by Mr T. R. Cooper for removing and re-erecting the shop now occupied by Mr Williams, ironmonger. Messrs Banner and Liddle will sell furniture, trade requisites, groceries, and clothing by auction at their rooms on Friday. At the same time they will offer 40 doors and 20 bales sashes | (assorted sizes.) An organ recital will be given in St. John's Church on Friday evening, the offertory collection being in aid of St. Augustine's district. The programme is published in another column. The Napier Rifle Volunteers parade in Clive Square on Thursday evening, and march to the Council Chamber, where the company prizes will be presented. The programme of the Waipawa County Racing Club's meeting, to bo held on the Kaikora course on New Year's Day, is published. A general meeting of the creditors of David Carmichael the younger, of! Norsewood, teamster, a bankrupt, is convened to be held at the Court House, Napier, on Friday next, when the debtor will make application for his discharge. The Old English Fair and bazaar in connection with Trinity Church will open in the Theatre on Monday, October 23. Mr. J. W. O'Brien has been appointed trustee in the estate of H. J. Glazebrook, of West Clire, butcher, a debtor. Messrs Monteith and Co. have 1000 fat cross-bred wethers and 550 Longwool ewes foi , sale. The Municipnl Engineer invites tenders for forming part of Harelock road, and for repairing Goldsmith road. Mr B. Stevens has several sections of land at Wanstead and Napier, (also the Pacific Hotel, an eight-roomed house, and threo acres of first-class land at Hastings, for salo. Tenders for filling in section 214, Emerson-street, close with Messrs Blytho and Co. on Saturday next. Messre Magill and Campbell, direct importers, Emerson street, are offering men's and boy's clothing (made up in the colony from home tweeds) at very reasonable prices. These goods are warranted to wear and fit well. Mr J. S. Jones, grocer, invites tenders for raising and removing a building in Carlylestreet. Messrs Blythe and Co. have navy American drill overalls. The things left at Mr Joseph Williams' boarding-house, West Clivo, by John McDonald and Charles Brown, will bo sold to pay for board, &c, if not redeemed within fourteen days. Mr W. E. Woods, pharmaceutical chemist, Napier and Hasting 3, informs the public that, owing to increase in business, he has determined to reduce his scale of charges.
