Captain Clarkson, of the barque Mammer, which arrived from Wis-ton in ballast yesterday evening reports tbat during his twenty-five years experience he never saw so many whales as he encountered between Cape Farewell and Greymouth, twelve being in sight on one occasion, besides seeing them all the way.
