Henderson, J. Pierson, French, J. Hassell, D. M'Lean, C. W. Mitchell, Roberts, R. Carrick, Camphell, Menloye, Dc Castro, and 8 in the steerage.

September. 30—Te Anau, s.s., for Poverty Bay and Auckland. Passengers—Misses Brothers and Campbell; Mesdames Pardoe and 6 children, and Ireland; Messrs L. Hammer, Tupaeri, Giblin, J. Chambers, Ireland, Hardy, and J. Kirker. October. I—Bannockburn,1 —Bannockburn, brigantino, for Rarotonga via Tairau. 2—Roojum, s.s., for Wairoa, with three passengers. 2—Maori, s.s., for Wairoa. Passengers— —Messrs Thomas Torr, J. P. Hamlin, and another. - ■ • The Union Steamship Company's ss. Te Anau, Captain M. Carey, arrived in the bay at 2.45 p.m. on Saturday from Wellington, Southern ports, and Melbourne, and was at once tendered by the launch and lighters for passengers and cargo. She reports having left Dunedin at 5 p.m. on the 27th ult., and arrived at Lyttelton at 8 p.m. on the 28th ; left again the same day at 10 p.m. and arrived at Wellington at 1 p.m. the next day ; steamed again for this port at 10 p.m., and arrived here as given above, after experiencing light variable winds and fine weather throughout the passage. '1 he passengers for Napier were brought ashore by the Boojum, and the Admiral attended for cargo. The outward passengers for Northern ports and Sydney were taken off at 8 p.m., and the Te Anau then proceeded on her voyage. She will tranship her Sydney passengers to the Rotorua at Auckland. The steamer Maori left shortly after 12 o'clock last night for Mohaka and Wairoa._ The brigantine Bannockburn, Captain James Kendall, left for Rarotonga via Tairoa yesterday morning in ballast. The Union Company's launch Boojum Captain Maloney, left for Wairoa shortly after 12 o'clock last night, with three passengers. She is to return to-night with excursionists for the races. She is telegraphed as having arrived at Wairoa at 10 o'clock this morning. The s.s. Oreti, Captain Helandev, is expected to arrive from Gisborne and Auckland on Thursday next. The s.s. Fairy is expected to get away for the coast to-night. The s.s. Kiwi leaves Wellington for this port to-night, via the coast.
