Brown, Monteith, and Gillies (2). * The Union Steam Ship Company's s.s< Rotorua, J..Tozer Commander, arrived here at an early hour this morning from Auckland via Gisborne. Sho was tendered as for mails and passengers by the Bootin, and by the ketches Admiral and Three rothers for cargo, consisting of about lf> tons of general goods, and 202 bales of wool from Gisborne. Tho steamer resumed her passage for Southern ports and Melbourne at 12.30 p.m. The steamer Go-Ahead, Capt. Peter Doile, left for Wellington and the coast at 2.30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The s.s. Kiwi, Capt. Campbell, got away for Wellington via the coast at 10 o'clock last night, taking about 15,000 feet of totara, timber, besides other cargo. r The cutter Clara, Captain D. Ferney, returned from Mohaka last evening, with a full load of wool. The p.s. Manaia altered her time of departure yesterday afternoon, and: left for the Wairoa at 10 o'clock last night/taking a good cargo, and a number of Maori cricketers. The Union Steam Ship Company's s.s. Ringarooma was signalled from the South as our report left the Spit.. Besides some 40 tons of cargo for here,"she brings a bull and 142 sheep. ~ [by cable.] London, December 2 . The Merchant Shipping and Underwriter's Association report the arrival of the ship Selein from Lyttelton (sailed August 31). Melbourne, December 30.
