lARRIVALS. December. 25—Rotorua, s.s., from Melbourne via Southern ports. Passengers—Mesdamcs Baxter and family, Hurrell, and Cooke ; Misses Harding, Brothers, Cook, M'Lcan, Pirie, Denton, Stewart, and Walker; Messrs M'Pherson, Nelson family and servants (15), Buckle, Gillian, Earnslow, M'Millan, Pine, Russell, Samuel, Tylee (2), Beath (2), Kemp, Maunsell, and Cary's Juvenile Troupe (47) ; and eight in the steerage. DEPARTURES. December. 25—Rotorua, s.s., for Gisborne and Northern ports. 26—Boojum, s.s., for Wairoa. _. TheUnionSteamship Company's Rotorua arrived at 1 p.m. on Sunday from Southern ports and Melbourne, which latter place she left on the 16th instant, arriving at Port Chalmers on the 22nd ; left again same day at 5 p.m., and arrived afc Lyttelton afc 9 a.m. on the 23rd ; arrived at Wellington at 8.30 a.m, on the 24th ; left again at 6 p.m., arriving at Napier as above. She left for Northern ports in the evening. The p.s. Manaia's driving gear not being quite in order prevented her leaving yesterday for Wairoa as was advertised. The s.s. 800-jum left for Wairoa yesterday morning with a good number of passengers. The s.s. Maori was announced to leave for Wairoa last night.
