December 24. The Victorian Parliament was prorogued to-day by commission. A religious camp meeting takes place at Queenscliffe to-morrow (Christmas Day). It is understood that a large number of families will attend. An intercolonial cricket match between an eleven of Victoria and an eleven of New South Wales was commenced here to-day. The first innings of the Victorian team closed for 232 runs, and at the close of tbe day's play the Sydney team had one wicket clown for 21 runs. December 26.
