No entre will be received for any race except upon the condition that ah c'aims, disputes, and object'ons arising (-hall be decided by the Stewards, Or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. All protests must be accom"anied with a dcpoßit of 2 soys, which sum shall be forfeited to the funds if the protest is not sustained. All nominations, entries, acceptances, &c, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must be addressed to the Secretary, and left at Hotel, Hastings, not later than 10 p.m. on tho Beveral specified dates. The rules and weights ol the Hawke s Bay jockey Club as in force at the date of the meetiDg, will be strictly adhered to.
