AKAROA REGATTA.
(by telegeaph.) Christchurch, to-day. Yacht Race.- Open to all comers ; Ist prize, £30. 2nd £5. Dove (H. Hutchinson 1 Xar iff a Captain Butt 2 Chance (Messrs Black and Brown) 3 Won easily. The double sculling and pair-oar race was won by tbe Lyttelton Rowing Club. The canoe race was won by the Canterbury (Christchurch) Rowing Club. The regatta was very successful, and there was a large attendance, including about 400 excursionists from Lyttelton.
