November 12.

Nearly a fatal accident happened at the Inangabua junction on Thursday. A teamster named Hanna was crossing with a loaded dray, and when in the centre of tbe stream the force ot the current capsized the dray. The cargo was almost entirely The driver was carried over tbe fall, and narrowly escaped drowning. He estimates the loss at full £100. This is the second accident at the same place within a fortnight. The ford is daily becoming more dangerous, and if a bridge is not erected at once traffic -will be almost entirely stopped.
