AUCKLAND.
November 4.
During last night the bottle containing the coins laid in the foundation stone of the new Wesleyan Church were stolen. Twelve robberies and burglaries have been committed here during the past month. The till of the Provincial Hotel was robbed yesterday of £1 6s. Francis Cleave, a bailiff, was fined 20s and costs to-day for illegally entering a house.
