The Victorian revenue returns published to-day show the receipts for the past quarter to have amounted to £1,289,000, being an increase of £197,000 compared with the September quarter of 1880. The revenue for the year 1880-81 amounted to £5,304,000, being an inereaee of £791,000 compared with 1879----80. The Customs revenue increased during the same period by £66,338, the land revenue by £10,201, the railway receipts by £25,565, and the excise duties by £47,354.
