The TTnion Company's s.s,, "Rotorua, Capt. J Tozer, steamed for Northern ports at about 6 o'clock on Saturday evening. The steamer Go-Ahead, Capt. P. T>oille, arrived in the roadstead shortly after 9 o'clock last night, and was brought inside and berthed at the cattle wharf by 10 p.m. Fhe left Wellington on Thursday night, called nt Alrileo and Castle Point on the •way up, landing a quantity of cargo at each plnre. Phe brines a large cargo for here, including out of the ship Glenlora nnd Wairoa from London. Owing to the rnin stopping the disharg6 of her cargo it is probable she will not sail tonight. The oteamer Fairy sailed for Mahia l';st erenins, with a good cargo, and is to return •with a load of maizo. The s.s. Maori, Capt. H. Anderson, left for Wairoa and Mohaka last evening with cargo and passengers. The schooner Orpheus arrived in the roadstead on Saturday afternoon from the Bay of Islands, and was brought inside yesterday morning. She brings a cargo of coal consigned to Mr "R. H. G-unn. The Union Company's s.s. Boojum, Capt. Maloney, leaves for Wairoa at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning. The steamer Kiwi, Capt. James Campbell, leaves Wellington for here at 5 p.m. to-day. She may be looked for on Wednesday morning, and will leave again for Wellington the game day. The cargo transhipped out of the Saturday's Union boots was not discharged to-day owing to the rain. The Union Steam Ship Company's s.s. Te -A nan will be a day late in leaving Port Chalmers this week, and therefore will not arrive here before Sunday. Her advertised time of departure for Northern ports has been altered to 4 p.m. on tha* day. The s.b. A rawata nrrived at Wellington at 7.30 a.m. yesterday from Napier. The s.s. I'otor'ua, hence on Saturday, arrived at G-isborne at 6 a.m. yesterday.
